Important Information
As you begin your journey with the YiM scholarship process, there are several important things you need to know. Please be sure to read this information to help make your journey in this process impactful.
ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible for a YiM scholarship, you must be an active student in a public, private, or homeschool instution in middle, high school, or college.
Eligible Partners
Each scholarship request requires a vetted and approved parent organization (i.e., a church, non-profit, or ministry) who is sponsoring and leading all trips for YiM missionaries.
Scholarship Application
To be considered, you are required to complete a scholarship application which will include your personal information, information about your mission trip, financial information about your need, a personal statement video, and a YiM commitment agreement.
Parental Partnership
Your parent or legal guardian will be required to be involved in the scholarship review period. It is critical for the YiM missionary, their legal guardian, and the partner mission organization to all be aligned with the scholarship request process.
